NEXT Retail Collection Pods

Complete HVAC solution for NEXT's standalone retail collection pods — a scalable design that can replicate across pod rollouts.

Scope: Compact fresh-air AHU with DX coil, pre-insulated ductwork, weather-proof inverter heat pump.
Sector: Retail standalone units.
Outcome: Low operational cost, quick deployment, consistent climate for customer collection experience.

Education • VRF

London Business School

Replaced an outdated chiller with a modern VRF system covering classrooms, offices and study spaces.

Scope: VRF system, 141 indoor units, phased cutover around academic calendar.
Capacity: 430 kW total cooling.
Sector: Higher education.
Outcome: Major energy-efficiency uplift vs. legacy chiller; zone-by-zone occupant control.

Banking • AHU • heat pump

RBS / NatWest Coin Base Centre

Removed an old gas air handling unit and installed three fresh-air AHUs integrated with heat pump condensers — low-carbon replacement on a sensitive banking estate.

Scope: Three fresh-air AHUs + heat pump condensers.
Capacity: 100 kW low-carbon heating capacity.
Sector: Banking / secure estate.
Outcome: Gas plant decommissioned, heating electrified, ventilation modernised.

Residential • ASHP

Cotswolds luxury garden cottage

Air source heat pump paired with underfloor heating throughout, plus fan coil units for summer cooling.

Scope: ASHP + UFH + fan coils.
Sector: High-end residential.
Outcome: Low running costs, quiet operation, year-round comfort in a premium property.

Social housing • hybrid

Kettering social housing

Solar PV powering outdoor AC condensers paired with a district heating system delivering 75°C flow — renewable heat and cooling at community scale.

Scope: Solar + AC + district heat network.
Flow temperature: 75°C district heat.
Sector: Social housing.
Outcome: Lower operational cost to the housing provider, renewable generation offsetting demand.

Commercial • VRF

Unit 4 Laporte Way, Luton

Three outdoor VRF condensers feeding 20 indoor cassette units across office and warehouse zones, with independent zone control.

Scope: 3 × outdoor condensers, 20 × indoor cassettes.
Sector: Commercial / light industrial.
Outcome: Zone-level comfort, low operating cost, quiet operation in a mixed-use unit.
